My name is Ellie, I am musician-healer-clown-seamstress-mom American installed since 2021 in Brittany. I offer energy treatment sessions, workshops and training courses in the Côtes d'Armor region. I offer my services to support you in moments of life transition (a birth, a death, a move, a personal transition...) At other times, you may sometimes see meon the scene, or maybe you will hear the sound of my Celtic fiddle floating through the trees...
My story
My life suddenly changed in 2018 when I became pregnant with my daughter. I left my job as a circus artist and moved in with my partner, who is French, near his family in Lille. I arrived in France for the first time, with a baby on my hip and an old chronic illness resurfacing, just before the pandemic turned the world upside down.
The quadruple catalyst of becoming a mother, moving to a foreign country, overcoming chronic illness, and losing a friend during the pandemic cut what seemed like six or seven years of spiritual growth into three.Healer, heal thyself (“Healer, heal thyself”) dictated my training ground, and I opened myself to all kinds of healing modalities. With what I experienced and learned, it quickly became clear to me that helping heal others was part of my life's mission.
My approach draws on a range of practices, including Reiki, chakra and meridian work, and magnetism. I am certified in Usui Holy Fire Reiki level II and Animal Reiki. I tailor each session to my client's unique needs, because true healing is co-creation.
In these sometimes almost unbearable times, our world desperately needs relief, laughter, love. It is my mission with RetourneAuSol to nourish our connections with each other (living and deceased), with our Earth and with the Energy of Life that connects us, so that we can all heal.
Before becoming a mother and moving to France in 2019, my life was on stage. I grew up in a family of clowns (literally) and studied theater at Smith College in the United States. I worked for eight years as a circus teacher for all ages and led clown courses for adults. I was part of "Circus Trans Formation" in 2018, a social circus training run byCaravan Youth and Social Circus Network. I have seen and experienced the healing power of the performing arts, especially through humor, and I am delighted to continue on this path in my new home: Brittany.
