A singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Ellie has always been in her element with music. From birth, she was immersed in the traditional Irish and Scottish music of her ancestors, and she began playing the violin, or rather “fiddle,” at age 8. She has lived in New England, Scotland, Ireland, and now lives and works in Brittany, France.
Daughter of a mime and a circus clown, Ellie grew up in the world of entertainment. She has performed in theater, circus, and music productions in the United States, Ireland and France.

Her influences include traditional and contemporary folk music, jazz, funk, rock, electronica and the musical world of circus.
